Joe exotic is a gangster rap icon

It was as if the rap gods heard us when we cried out for something fun to do on lockdown. They certainly heard us when they gave us Tiger King, Netflix's hit docuseries on notorious zookeeper Joe Exotic and his attempt to have someone murdered.

I'm only a few episodes in and my jaw is absolutely wrecked from being stuck on the floor for so long. Tiger King is like a rollercoaster that got caught in a tornado that's about to be eaten by a tsunami.

The deeper I go into this rabbit hole the more and more I'm convinced that Joe Exotic is a gangster rap icon.

Think about it:
A shitload of guns? Check.
Importing/selling illegal products? Check
Dope music about a rough life? Check
Impeccable swag? Triple check

SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

Think about it the minute one of his employees had their arm ripped off by a tiger, what did he do? He through on an EMT jacket, handled the situation himself and then walk into a gift shop full of people and coolly tell them what was going on and offered them a refund.

And what was his first thought after it happened?

"This is going to financially ruin me."

The guy is so hardcore, he rolled up to a competitor's turf, he paid them money to take a tour. Then afterward the guy rented a helicopter to survey the entire site, going as far as to say he thought about dropping grenades on Carole Baskins' property.

Baskins, may I mention, has been accused of feeding her former husband to her own damn tigers.

This guy has even straight-up threatened police ON TELEVISION when asked what would happen if authorities tried to take his tigers. He straight up said it would be another Waco, Texas incident where a local cult had a standoff with federal authorities.

Did 50 Cent, Schoolboy Q or YG ever deal with shit like that? I think not.

I guess what I'm asking here is where is this dudes contract with Def Jam or Interscope at? Joe Exotic sounds like the perfect gangster rap darling for Jimmy Iovine to profit off of. I can literally hear the caching noise coming from Exotic's first rap album and how money it would be.

I've yet to finish this amazing documentary but I can only assume that Joe, in an attempt to escape the pigs, jumps on a car firing his guns and screaming "KING KONG, AINT GOT NOTHING ON ME."

The bottom line is, Joe Exotic is pure gangster rap gold. I would be willing to sign any petition to get this guy out of prison as long as it meant he got a 10-year contract with Def Jam/Interscope, an album produced by Scott Storch and a guest verse from Lil Wayne.
